Stop the Silence on Violence

  • Brent Civic Centre Engineers Way Wembley, England, HA9 United Kingdom (map)

Imagine a world without Violence Against Women

Join us as we mark White Ribbon Day in Brent and wear orange to show your support.

David Challen will deliver the keynote speech. David is the son of Sally Challen, who was sentenced to life in prison for the murder of her husband. Sally's conviction was later quashed after new evidence emerged about her husband's controlling and coercive behaviour. David campaigns for more support for victims of abuse.

Local organisations will also be on hand to share information and advice about their services.

Attendees are encouraged to wear the colour orange to support the UN's 16 Days campaign to raise awareness of violence against women.

Refreshments provided.

More speakers to be announced.
